Our stretch of quite and warm weather will be coming to an end today with strong thunderstorms expected to fire to our west this afternoon. This change will also usher in much cooler and more seasonable air. The featured NEXRAD image from this morning shows thunderstorms already visiting the state with some locations picking up small hail.
