NEXRAD composite indicates a small area of light rain in SE Iowa and light showers to our NW. A cold front will approach the state today and possibly spark thunderstorms by late evening in NW Iowa. While the amount of rain remains somewhat in doubt, cooler and drier air will undoubtedly filter in behind the front to give us a couple of cool days before a warmup next week.
