The dry air flowing into the state from the east continues to eat away at showers in Western Iowa. The featured plot shows how most of the RADAR returns are probably not reaching the ground, since the sites are not reporting rain. This regime is finally moving out and our thunderstorm chances are on the increase for the rest of the week. Some of these storms will be severe.
