One of the interesting ISU AgClimate data products to look at is the 'Potential Evapo-transpiration' [PET] plot (shown). PET is a calculated value of water loss by a fully transpiring crop. In the IEM Ag Plotting section, you can plot this loss with observed precipitation for the past 60 days.
