...NWS DAMAGE SURVEY FOR 05/20/2019 TORNADO EVENT...UPDATE 1

.UPDATE...Updated Peggs/Leach Tornado information and added other
three tornadoes following damage surveys. 

.OVERVIEW...Supercells produced several tornadoes across eastern
Oklahoma during the evening of May 20th.

.Twin Hills Oklahoma Tornado...

Survey Summary: This large tornado severely damaged businesses and 
homes, snapped and uprooted numerous trees, destroyed outbuildings, 
and snapped many power poles along its lengthy and wide path.
Evidence of intense rear flank downdraft wind was also found with
trees occasionally uprooted south of the tornado track to an 
easterly direction.

Survey Summary: This tornado damaged homes and outbuildings, and
uprooted trees. It developed as the long-track Peggs/Leach tornado
was dissipating, and moved east-northeast across the end of the 
other tornado track.

Survey Summary: This tornado developed in the forward flank of the
Peggs/Leach supercell, over Lake Hudson. It moved ashore snapping
power poles and uprooting trees. The tornado moved east and then
northeast uprooting other trees and snapping large tree limbs.

EF Scale: The enhanced Fujita scale classifies tornadoes into the 
following categories.

EF0...weak......65 To 85 mph
EF1...weak......86 to 110 mph
EF2...strong....111 to 135 mph
EF3...strong....136 to 165 mph
EF4...violent...166 to 200 mph
EF5...violent...>200 mph
