...NWS DAMAGE SURVEY FOR 02/06/2020 TORNADO EVENT...

.Overview...A NWS survey crew found that a tornado briefly touched 
down in Pinellas County on the evening of the 6th, causing a narrow
path of damage moving east-northeast across the county. Most of the 
damage was found to be at treetop levels, but some trees were knocked
down or uprooted, landing on homes. Additionally, numerous carports 
were ripped off of homes. A crane also collapsed, landing on Interstate
275, temporarily closing the highway. One injury was reported with the 
damage due to a tree landing on a home.
