Survey_summary: A National Weather Service Survey indicated that 
an EF1 tornado touchdown approximately 2 miles southwest of 
Roberds Lake and tracked northeast over Roberds Lake, severely 
damaging numerous homes, boats, cabins and trailers. The tornado 
continued to track northeast across County Road 21, and over I-35,
before dissipating northeast of the interstate.

NORTHEAST TO CANNON FALLS...

SURVEY_SUMMARY: Extreme straight line winds occurred south of the
Faribault tornado for an extensive swath roughly from far
southwest Rice County, northeast through the north side of
Faribault, including the Faribault airport, and northeast to 
Cannon Falls. Winds are estimated to have reached up to 110 mph in
this swath. It is likely a couple tornadoes were embedded within 
the straight line wind, but additional information will be needed 
to determine starting and ending points.
