Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 90 mph Path Length /statute/: 3.91 miles Path Width /maximum/: 250 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 03/30/2025 Start Time: 09:35 PM EDT Start Location: 2 W Jeffersonville / Fayette County / OH Start Lat/Lon: 39.6516 / -83.5994 End Date: 03/30/2025 End Time: 09:39 PM EDT End Location: 1 ENE Jeffersonville / Fayette County / OH End Lat/Lon: 39.6545 / -83.5274 Survey Summary: The National Weather Service has confirmed an EF-1 tornado in Fayette County Ohio near Jeffersonville. This tornado occurred during the evening of March 30, 2025. The tornado appears to have first formed along SR 734 to the east of West Lancaster Road NW, where minor tree damage was apparent. The tornado strengthened to low end EF1 as it crossed Jeffersonville-West Lancaster Road. One outbuilding was destroyed while two other buildings experienced significant removal of roof covering. Several hardwood trees were also snapped. Winds were estimated to be around 90 mph at this location. Debris was observed in a field for over 1/2 mile east of Jeffersonville-West Lancaster Road. Damage to power poles was noted near the Jefferson Industrial Park and nearby metal roof panels of a service station were removed. Some of the last damage was noted in Jefferson Crossing, where numerous RVs were flipped at a RV business. The tornado dissipated shortly after crossing I-71.
