...Summary... 
The National Weather Service in Wilmington Ohio has confirmed an
EF1 tornado in and near the village of New Madison Ohio in 
southwest Darke County. 

Much of the damage was EF0, with numerous large tree branches
damaged and minor roof damage to structures. There was some damage
indicative of EF1, namely large sections of roof uplifted at a
lumber yard barn storage building. Elsewhere through the village,
there was brick damage to the front facade of a downtown business,
in addition to broken windows and some uplift of roof material.
Much of this damage was more indicative to EF0 strength. 

The National Weather Service would like to thank Darke County 
emergency management for their support with the survey efforts.

EF Scale: The Enhanced Fujita Scale classifies tornadoes into the
following categories:

EF0...Weak......65 to 85 mph
EF1...Weak......86 to 110 mph
EF2...Strong....111 to 135 mph
EF3...Strong....136 to 165 mph
EF4...Violent...166 to 200 mph
EF5...Violent...>200 mph
