...NWS DAMAGE SURVEY FOR JUNE 30, 2018 TORNADO EVENT...

.OVERVIEW...A supercell thunderstorm in southern Phelps county
produced at least two verifiable tornadoes on June 30.

SURVEY_SUMMARY: Reports of this tornado were received via Phelps 
County Emergency Management and from area residents. Those viewing
the tornado from the northwest and southeast corroborated its location
to be generally in the West Sacramento Wildlife Management Area.

SURVEY_SUMMARY: The location of this tornado was determined
from reports and video evidence of a ground circulation under
the funnel. Some debris was noted with the tornado but overall
damage appeared very minimal along its short path. 

There may have been other brief tornadoes along the trail of 
the supercell into Kearney County, however, it is too difficult
to determine exact locations or impacts at this time.
