In the early evening hours of July 8, 2020, a series of strong to severe thunderstorms developed along an east-west oriented warm frontal bundary across southern Crow Wing County. While individual storms did not last very long, conditions were locally favorable enough for a storm to briefly take on a supercellular nature. This supercell briefly produced a tornado in a rural area between Brainerd and Garrison. The tornado produced minor damage to one property as well as damaging several trees along its path. The tornado was estimated to be on the ground for nearly 23 minutes before dissipating as the parent storm became outflow dominant. .TORNADO near Pine Center and Garrison...
