...NWS Damage Survey for Sept 8, 2021 Washington Township Tornado and
Verdilla Tornado Event...

A supercell thunderstorm produced two brief tornadoes across 
Eastern Snyder County during the late afternoon of Sept 8, 2021.

A tornado touched down along State Route 104 just north of 
Parkwoods Road and continued southeast toward Redcort Lane. 
Several trees and power lines were knocked down along State Route 
104. Upwards of 100 trees were knocked down in a forested area 
near Redcort Lane.

A tornado started on Neitz Valley Road near Bressler Lane where 
it flattened parts of a cornfield. Several trees were snapped and 
uprooted just north and along Neitz Valley Road and Produce Road. 
The tornado then tracked southeast and uprooted trees and damaged 
a barn roof near Aqueduct Road before lifting southeast of 
Aqueduct Road.
