A weak tornado touched down near Oregon Ohio on the evening of July 31st and tracked north to near Point Place before dissipating. The 5 mile intermittent track produced mainly tree damage. A few buildings and homes were hit in the path. The damage to homes consisted of mainly shingles and minor roof damage. A barn did sustain significant roof damage. Reports were also received of cars being displaced.
