...Summary...
The tornado began in the Fairlawn Subdivision, just east of Moncks Corner. 
Several homes had significant damage along Old Fort Road and Dennis Blvd. 
There was also extensive snapping and uprooting of trees, as well as vehicle
and trailer damage in the area. The tornado moved east-southeast, generally
down Dennis Blvd, then eastward across the west branch of the Cooper River, 
finally ending near the intersection of SC-402 and Cane Gully Road. This 
tornado was part of a family of tornadoes that began more than 100 miles
to the southwest, in Screven county, GA.    

EF Scale: The Enhanced Fujita Scale classifies tornadoes into the
following categories:

EF0...Weak......65 to 85 mph
EF1...Weak......86 to 110 mph
EF2...Strong....111 to 135 mph
EF3...Strong....136 to 165 mph
EF4...Violent...166 to 200 mph
EF5...Violent...>200 mph
