...NWS Damage Survey for June 22 2018 Tornado...

.Overview...Thunderstorms developed during the afternoon and
evening hours on Friday. Several reports of large hail and 
damaging winds occurred across the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles. 
At least one tornado has been confirmed, near Wheeler. The
city of Wheeler experienced a brief tornado, along with a larger
area of straight line winds. Winds in the city of Wheeler produced 
several areas of widespread tree and shingle damage, and also damaged
several homes and businesses. These winds were estimated to be near
85 mph, while the tornado itself likely topped out near 80 mph.

Survey Summary: This tornado was brief, with the strongest
winds in the 75 to 80 mph range. The tornado began west of 
town, just to the north of State Highway 152 east of the 
cotton gin. The tornado quickly moved east, producing EF-0 
damage to trees, barns, and approximately 5 homes. One 
manufactured home was completely destroyed. The other homes
suffered roof damage.

tornadoes into the following categories.

EF0...Weak......65 TO 85 MPH
EF1...Weak......86 TO 110 MPH
EF2...Strong....111 TO 135 MPH
EF3...Strong....136 TO 165 MPH

EF5...Violent...>200 MPH
