As Tropical Storm Elsa moved through southern Virginia a band of
showers and storms pushed across Suffolk. Within that band of
storms, a brief tornado touched down southeast of Suffolk from 
near Quaker Rd and Lummis Road to near Quince Rd. The tornado
snapped a few trees and tore limbs out of other trees.

As Tropical Storm Elsa moved through southern Virginia a band of
showers and storms pushed across Suffolk. Within that band of
storms, a brief tornado touched down near Kings Fork, VA. The
tornado touched down near US Highway 460, tracking from the
Tractor Supply store, where outbuildings were overturned, to near
Kings Fork Road where numerous trees limbs were broken and several
trees were downed.

As Tropical Storm Elsa moved through southern Virginia a band of
showers and storms pushed across Isle if Wight County. Within 
that band of storms, a tornado briefly touched down on the
northwest side of Smithfield. The damage path stretched from
Jordan Rd to Blounts Corner Road on the other side of the Pagan
River. The damage was limited to a few snapped trees and broken
limbs. One tree did land on a house.

Within that band of storms, a brief tornado touched down near
Harrellsville. An EF0 tornado tracked from Highway 45 north
northwest across Wiccacon Rd and Bazemore Rd. Damage was limited 
to a few down trees and numerous trees limbs down.

As Tropical Storm Elsa moved through northeastern North Carolina  
a band of showers and storms pushed across the Pasquotank River
and Camden County. Within that band of storms, a brief tornado
developed as the storms crossed the river and the tornado moved
ashore near Sunset Avenue and tracked northeast about 1.3 miles to
near Areneuse Creek and NC route 343. The storm snapped numerous
trees, ripped the roof off of a boat house on the river and
destroyed an outbuilding when a large pine tree fell on it.
