Port Isabel, South Padre Island, Laguna Heights, and Laguna Vista

Through 6 pm...Scattered moderate to heavy showers and
thunderstorms continue to affect parts of the Rio Grande Valley
and Deep South Texas. Movement of this activity is generally
towards the northwest around 10 to 15 mph. KBRO radar estimates 
rainfall rates of half an inch to an inch an hour with the heavier
showers and thunderstorms that are occurring. Motorists are 
encouraged to use extra caution and slow down if caught in the 
rain. Do not drive through standing water.
