Thunderstorm chances will once again increase this afternoon, mainly for areas south of I-20. The main threat from today's thunderstorms will be from heavy rain leading to localized flooding. A few strong storms may contain gusty downburst winds as well. Overnight, additional storms will develop, with heavy rain and lightning being the main hazards. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Widespread thunderstorm chances will remain in the forecast through Tuesday. No severe weather is expected, but a few strong storms may contain gusty winds.
