...Areas of fog developing across the northern ranchlands and
upper Rio Grande valley early this morning...

Satellite images and surface observations indicate areas of
fog...some locally dense...continue to develop across portions of
the northern ranchlands and upper portions of the Rio Grande
valley early this morning. Visibilities have been reduced to 2 to
4 miles in general with isolated areas reduced to a quarter of a
mile. If the fog becomes more widespread and visibilities continue
to deterioate...then a dense fog advisory will likely be needed
for portions of deep south Texas later this morning.

Motorists are urged to prepare for rapidly changing visibilities.
When driving in fog, slow down and do not use high beam
headlights.
