This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Texas and Oklahoma
Panhandles.

.DAY ONE...Through Tonight.

Patchy fog and drizzle can be expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Heavy rainfall may occur across southern portions of the Texas
Panhandle Saturday and Saturday night. With already saturated
soils, this could cause more flooding across portions of the
forecast area.

A cold front will arrive Saturday and Saturday night. Freezing
temperatures may occur Saturday night in northwest parts of the
Combined Panhandles. Freezing temperatures are likely to occur
over most sections Sunday night and Monday night. Widespread
hard freezing temperatures are most likely Sunday night and Monday
night across the northwestern two-thirds of the Combined
Panhandles when lows are forecast to range from the mid 20s to
the low 30s. Sensitive vegetation could be damaged or killed under
frost and freezing conditions.

Chances for accumulating snows will increase on Sunday and Sunday
night, especially across the northwest one-fourth of the Combined
Panhandles, where amounts above 2 inches are expected. The
southeast Texas Panhandle will have the least chance for
accumulating snow, with most of the remaining area having a good
chance to receive around one inch.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will be possible Sunday night into Monday.
