538 FXUS64 KLUB 150508 AFDLUB Area Forecast Discussion National Weather Service Lubbock TX 1208 AM CDT Fri Mar 15 2019 .AVIATION... VFR conditions will continue for the next 24 hours. && PREV DISCUSSION... /issued 326 PM CDT Thu Mar 14 2019/ DISCUSSION... Trailing trough behind the exiting system that brought our winds yesterday will hang just to our west into Friday before rotating eastward. Flow across WTX will remain zonal to slightly southwestward as UL low tries to deepen across the desert, a couplet associated with a high across NORCAL. This will yield a bit diffluence to our south Saturday afternoon. It might trigger a few showers mainly across the Permian Basin though a few might work their way across our mutual border. Still, the setup is not very convincing and will only hold low end pops in the far SW to match up with our neighbors. Things are expected to remain quiet until a cold front manages to try to make it in late Monday or Tuesday with trailing stratiform precip possible. && .LUB WATCHES/WARNINGS/ADVISORIES...
