The upper level low responsible for bringing the OK Panhandle snow is moving off to the east. Temps will be colder tonight than last night. As surface high pressure settles on the area, winds will ease to near calm tonight. This coupled with moisture filtering into the western Panhandles at the 700mb level, will bring areas of fog overnight. Beat && .LONG TERM...Sunday through Saturday... Cold surface high pressure ridge will remain in place Sunday. Weak isentropic upglide may lead to the development of light rain or light snow over far western sections on Sunday. No accumulations of snow are expected. Clouds expected to dissipate on Monday, with highs returning to values near normal. Tuesday and Wednesday expected to be warmer, especially across the southern half of the forecast area, where the impacts of a weak cold front expected to be minimized. This cold front expected to slip into north and northeast sections Tuesday and Wednesday. Deep zonal flow on Thursday leads to the warmest day of the forecast.
