.OVERVIEW...A tornado and microburst occurred during the storms 
on Tuesday near Norris City, IL. 

.Microburst...

Peak wind:             Estimated 85 mph
Path length /Statute/: 4 miles 
Path width /Maximum/:  1.5 miles
Fatalities: 0
Injuries:   0

Start date:            Jun 26 2018
Start time:            940 AM CDT
Start location:        4.5 miles southwest of Norris City, IL

End date:              Jun 26 2018
End time:              946 AM CDT
End location:          3.5 miles southeast of Norris City, IL

SURVEY SUMMARY: The damage was most focused around and south of
Sandy Run Lake in southwest White County. The damage began near
the Hamilton-White County line and continued to east of Highway 1,
where the damage became more sporadic. Many dozens of trees, some
large, were uprooted or broken. At least two homes were damaged
due to falling trees. One was a mobile home on Highway 300 North
and another on Sandy Run Lake.
