321 FPUS72 KKEY 212225 NOWKEY Short Term Forecast National Weather Service Key West FL 625 PM EDT Sun Sep 21 2025 FLZ076-077-GMZ031-032-042-043-052-053-212330- Monroe Upper Keys-Monroe Middle Keys- Florida Bay including Barnes Sound, Blackwater Sound, and Buttonwood Sound- Bayside and Gulf side from Craig Key to west end of Seven Mile Bridge-Hawk Channel from Ocean Reef to Craig Key out to the reef- Hawk Channel from Craig Key to west end of Seven Mile Bridge out to the reef-Straits of Florida from Ocean Reef to Craig Key out 20 NM- Straits of Florida from Craig Key to west end of Seven Mile Bridge out 20 NM- Including the Communities of Key Largo and Marathon 625 PM EDT Sun Sep 21 2025 .NOW... Through 730 pm, clusters of showers and a thunderstorm or two over the Upper Keys and immediate waters will track west southwestward at 10 mph into the Middle Keys. The stronger activity will produce wind gusts near 25 mph, blinding downpours, and possibly a few lightning strikes. Island locations from Islamorada to Key Colony Beach will be most likely to be affected by these cells, and may receive one half to one inch of rain. $$
