Under mostly clear skies, predawn temperatures ranged from the upper 30s to near 50 degrees, coolest over northern Kansas. A few sprinkles or light rain showers are possible over northeast Kansas today, but rainfall amounts will remain very light. Otherwise, breezy and mild weather will prevail today, with forecast high temperatures mostly in the 70s. Increasing moisture should support isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms later tonight over generally the eastern half of Kansas. Severe weather is unlikely. Forecast low temperatures are in the 50s. $$
