thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles northeast of
Frankfort to 10 miles northwest of Campbellsville. Movement was east
at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Lexington, Georgetown, Frankfort, Nicholasville, Danville,
Lawrenceburg, Campbellsville, Versailles, Harrodsburg, and Lebanon.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 AM EDT/300 AM CDT/ for
central Kentucky.
