.Discussion...

A low pressure system digging south across California today and 
into Arizona this evening will produce increasing southwest flow 
for the District today. Coupled with very dry air at the surface, 
this will create spotty critical fire weather conditions for 
portions of the southeast plains and southern I-25 corridor this 
afternoon.

A slight cooldown and an increase in precipitation chances, 
especially across Fire Zones 220 through 225, will start Thursday 
and continue into the upcoming weekend. A warming and drying trend
is then expected for the start of the next work week.

Smoke dispersion is forecast to improve to Fair for portions of 
the District today between 1200 and 1700. For Thursday, 
ventilation rates are expected to remain Poor for much of the 
area, though the far eastern plains, Fire Zones 231 through 237, 
will improve to Fair during the afternoon.
