The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southeastern Nye County in south central Nevada...
  West Central Clark County in southern Nevada...

* Until 700 PM PDT.

* At 351 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or 
  expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life-threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life-threatening flash flooding of low-water
           crossings, creeks, normally dry washes and roads.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Pahrump, Rainbow Canyon, Mt. Charleston, Spring Mountains, Red 
  Rock Canyon, Summerlin, Mcwilliams Campground, Dolomite 
  Campground, Mary Jane Falls Campground, Fletcher View Campground, 
  Mahogany Grove Campground, Kyle Canyon Campground, Hilltop 
  Campground, Willow Creek Campground, Lovell Canyon Campground and 
  Rocky Gap Campground.

This includes the following roads...
	Kyle Canyon Road between mile markers 1 and 16.
	Lee Canyon Road between mile marker 1 and 13.
	State Route 160 in Clark County between mile marker 39 and 43.
	Deer Creek Road between mile markers 1 and 8.
	State Route 159 in Red Rock Canyon between mile marker 8 and 12.
	State Route 160 in Nye County between mile markers 1 and 18.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
  Cold Creek and Wheeler Wash.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
