.DISCUSSION...Critical fire weather conditions earlier this
afternoon will slowly improve for most areas through the evening.
However, strong southwest winds will persist downwind of
higher terrain overnight, including around the Tunnel Fire east
of the San Francisco Peaks. Breezy southwest winds with afternoon
humidity in the teens will bring near critical fire weather
conditions to the area on Wednesday and Thursday.
Friday through Sunday...Expect cooler tempe
continue this afternoon, with RH below 15% and southwest winds
20-30 MPH gusting to 40-50 MPH. ratures with strong
southwest winds on Friday, however humidity will increase with
possible showers. Dry weather and lighter winds are forecast for the
weekend.
