  Elevated excessive heat risk.

DISCUSSION...

Heat index values of 100-109 are likely today across the area.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

While an isolated thunderstorm can not be ruled out Saturday or
Sunday across central Missouri, higher chance of thunderstorms 
will arrive late Sunday night into Monday night as a stronger 
system moves into the area.
