Bulk Download Help
This bulk download tool provides the NWS text
in a raw form, hopefully directly usable by your processing system.
You can either provide a complete 6-character PIL/AFOS ID or provide
the 3-character base ID (e.g., AFD). The start and end
dates represent 00 UTC for those dates. The Zip format is useful as
the filenames will have the product timestamp, which is useful for
when the product format has ambiguous timestamps.

Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky...CORRECTED
National Weather Service Jackson KY
610 AM EDT Sun May 9 2021
..Gusty Winds Today...
.DISCUSSION...A warm front will lift north across the region this
morning, as an area of low pressure tracks from the Plains and
into the OH Valley. Behind the warm front, milder air will be
ushered into the region on gusty south to southwest winds. Gusts
could peak as high as 40 to 45 mph. Shower and thunderstorm
chances will increase from northwest to southeast this afternoon
and evening as the low passes through the region and the trailing
cold front approaches. Shower chances will linger until the cold
front sags south of the area early on Monday. Below normal
temperatures are expected for much of this week, with chances for
showers or a thunderstorm at times from Wednesday night to
Friday.
