.SYNOPSIS...
A strong low pressure system will eject from lower south Texas 
today resulting in strong onshore winds and increasing seas as a 
cold front sweeps through the coastal waters. Widespread showers 
and thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the front. Some  
of these storms will have the potential to be severe with strong 
winds and waterspouts. Winds will turn offshore behind the front 
with winds and seas gradually diminishing Friday. Light offshore 
flow and low seas will prevail over the weekend.
