This Hydrologic Outlook is based on observed river conditions along the Middle Loup River. There has been at least some back water resulting from a minor ice jam near the Highway 68 bridge near Rockville. The river levels may fluctuate over the weekend due to ice conditions near the Highway 68 bridge. Minor out of bank flooding is possible in the agricultural low lands along the Middle Loup River near Rockville. Outlook information for The Middle Loup River Near Rockville. * At 8:00 PM Friday the river stage was 8.7 feet due to back water from a minor ice jam. * Flood stage is 8.0 feet. * Very minor flooding of rural pasture land along the Middle Loup River in southeastern Sherman County will continue to be possible through the weekend.
