Temperatures across the area at 11 a.m., ranged from 38 degrees at Galesburg, to 45 degrees at Lawrenceville. Dry conditions will remain through the early afternoon hours. An increase in cloud coverage will occur later today as the next large weather system approaches. As this system moves into the Midwest early Thursday morning, it will bring rainfall and isolated thunderstorms to the area during the second half of the week. High temperatures are forecast to remain above normal throughout the week, before falling after the cold front passes Friday. High temperatures today, will range from the middle 30s across western Iowa, to the middle 50s across western Kentucky and the Missouri bootheel. Overnight low temperatures, will range from the middle 20s across northern Wisconsin, to the lower 50s across the Missouri bootheel. $$ JRP
