The precipitation brought rainfall amounts of one quarter to one half inch to portions of far southern Iowa with localized amounts up to one inch. Little to no accumulating rainfall fell across the remainder of the state. Temperatures at 4 am ranged from the mid 50s north to the low to mid 60s south. The wind was light at 7 mph or less. Conditions will be cloudy and cool again today, with isolated showers and thunderstorms again in the forecast. High temperatures will be in the mid to upper 70s today then a slow warming tend during the week. Thunderstorms will remain possible on Monday. Tuesday will be dry followed by the return of thunderstorm chances by Wednesday afternoon then again Friday night into Saturday. $$
