With additional rainfall accumulations of 1 to 2 inches expected today, after rainfall amounts of 5 to 8 inches reported yesterday, a Flash Flood Watch has been issued for Jefferson and Orange Counties for today. Please stay alert for any warnings issued through the morning and afternoon hours if you live in these areas. Elsewhere, brief heavy rains will be possible which could lead to some minor street flooding in poor drainage or urban areas.
