This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of south central
Arkansas, southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest
Louisiana, southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight...

No hazardous weather is expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday...

Showers and thunderstorms will increase from west to east across
the region Saturday afternoon and night, ahead of a strong upper
level storm system that will shift east across Oklahoma.
Meanwhile, a warm front will lift north across much of East Texas
into North Louisiana and extreme Southern Arkansas Saturday
afternoon and evening, with may yield enough instability within a
moderately sheared air mass to result in isolated strong to severe
thunderstorms developing over these areas Saturday afternoon and
night. Should these storms become severe, damaging winds and
marginally severe hail will be possible. There will also be the
potential for locally heavy rainfall Saturday night as well, with
widespread rainfall amounts of one to two inches, with isolated
higher amounts possible. These showers and thunderstorms will
diminish across the region Sunday as this storm system and
associated cold front shifts east away from the area.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Activation of emergency management personnel...amateur radio
operators...and storm spotters will not be needed through tonight.
