This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central, South 
Central and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

An extreme grassland fire danger will exist in areas primarily along
and west of a line from Lincoln to Lyons from midday until early
this evening. For further details, please refer to the Red Flag
Warning that is in effect from noon until 6 PM CST.

A very high grassland fire will exist across the remainder of the
region as far east as the Flint Hills. A very high grassland fire
danger may exist in most of Central Kansas early this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

A very high grassland fire danger is likely in most areas Saturday
afternoon.

An extreme grassland fire danger is likely in Barton and Russell
counties Sunday afternoon and may expand as far east as Highway 14
Monday afternoon. For the remaining areas, a very high grassland 
fire danger will exist both Sunday and Monday afternoons and in all
areas Tuesday afternoon.

A few thunderstorms, which may be quite strong with small hail and 
40 to 50 mph winds, remain possible in most areas Sunday afternoon 
and evening and for far Southeast Kansas Sunday night.
