...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri...
Gasconade River near Rich Fountain
.This Flood Warning is a result of heavy rainfall that occurred
over last weekend and around 3.50 inches forecast in the next
48 hours...
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Rainfall heavier than forecast could cause river levels to rise even
higher than predicted. The National Weather Service will monitor
this developing situation and issue follow up statements as
conditions or forecasts change.
Safety message: Never drive cars, trucks, or sport utility vehicles
through flooded areas. The water may be too deep to allow for safe
passage.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Gasconade River near Rich Fountain
* until Monday morning.
* At 8:30 PM Tuesday the stage was 35.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Record flooding is forecast.
* The river is forecast to continue falling to below flood stage
Sunday afternoon.
* Impact: At 31.8 feet...Near this height, State Highway 89 begins
flooding north of State Highway E just and north of the Swan Creek.
* Impact: At 30.5 feet...Near this height, U.S. Highway 50 near Mount
Sterling will be closed in both directions.
* Impact: At 29.7 feet...Near this height, Missouri Highway 42 east
of Vienna will be closed in both directions.
* Impact: At 29.3 feet...Near this height, Missouri State Route E
just west of the juncture with Missouri Highway 89 will be closed
in both directions.
* Impact: At 28.0 feet...Near this height, U.S. Highway 63 will be
closed in both directions southeast of Vienna.
* Impact: At 27.0 feet...Near this height, Missouri State Route BB
north of Mount Sterling will be closed in both directions.
* Impact: At 26.0 feet...County Road 623 northwest of the gage and
County Road 727 at Highway D are flooded and closed at this height.
Also, State Highway 42 southwest of Belle and State Highway J east
of Fredericksburg are also flooded and closed. Actual point of
inundation may be as low as 22 ft.
* Impact: At 22.5 feet...Near this height, Missouri State Route K
west of Bay will be closed in both directions due to backwater
along Second Creek.
* Impact: At 22.1 feet...House basement along the right bank upstream
of the gage begins to flood near this height.
* Impact: At 22.0 feet...At this height County Road 251 north of
Fredericksburg is flooded and closed.
* Impact: At 21.1 feet...Private road under the State Highway 89
bridge begins flooding near this height.
* Impact: At 20.0 feet...FLOOD STAGE. Right bank overflows. Also,
State Highway D begins flooding near the Cooper Hill Conservation
Area.
