.Short term...
[TONIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT]...Showers associated with the 
trough from yesterday has shifted just south of the American Samoa
region. The flash flood watch is cancelled as the trough becomes 
more disorganized. Although we are expecting this feature to 
weaken starting tonight, numerous showers remain as satellite 
trends still shows them nearby. By Thursday morning, showers will 
become scattered. 

.Long term...
[FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY]...Breezy east winds will hold through 
Friday before another high pressure system builds near Fiji on
Saturday. This feature will dominate weather through the new week
as it tracks east. Expect isolated to scattered showers and 
southeast winds of 10 to 20 mph for this duration.

.Marine...
Latest wave heights at the Aunu'u PacIOOS buoy are around 9 to 11
feet with a moderate signal from a south swell up to 15 seconds.
These observations suggests large surfs and rough seas currently
impacting coastal waters. Hence, the advisories for small crafts
and high surfs remain. Expect these conditions to continue through
Thursday before gradually subsiding thereafter. By the weekend, 
wave heights are expected to drop to 5 to 7 feet. However, 15 knot
winds may lead to textured seas, but remain below advisory levels.
