An extensive layer of stratus clouds, formed from the moist
southeasterly flow being lifted across the Mtns, blanketed the
region and kept temperatures from falling below 60s across much of
Central and Southwestern PA, while the Northern Mountains were in
the mid to upper 50s.

A few showers are possible later this afternoon or evening, mainly 
across the Western Mountains of the state as low level wind energy
increases ahead of a frontal boundary.

Temperatures today will reach the mid and upper 60s, while the
valleys will see highs in the low to mid 70s.

Unsettled conditions are expected to continue early in the
upcoming week, with a likelihood of showers slowly spreading 
across the state from west to east Monday night and Tuesday.
