A Pacific upper level trough will slowly move across Wyoming and into Nebraska, resulting in an unsettled weather pattern over western Nebraska during the next 24 to 36 hours. Winds may be variable at times as this storm system strengthens, but expect the prevailing direction this afternoon to be east to southeast. Cooler temperatures and widespread showers and scattered thunderstorms expected Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning. Look for gusty and erratic winds near any shower/thunderstorm activity, expected to begin between around 5PM and last through the evening.
