Scattered showers and thunderstorms, some strong to severe, are
likely across eastern Montana and the Dakotas late this afternoon
through tonight. High temperatures today are forecast to be in 
the mid 70s northeast to the lower 90s in southern South Dakota.

Widespread showers with isolated to scattered thunderstorms are 
likely across much of the region this weekend. Slightly cooler, 
but still near average temperatures are expected for the weekend 
into early next week, before cooler temperatures are favored late
in the week.
