Otherwise, quiet weather prevailed statewide today, with daytime temperatures reaching the 70s for most, although cooler 60s were noted over portions of southwest Kansas where clouds were rather extensive. Statewide temperatures were 10 to as much as 20 degrees below average. The quiet weather and relatively light winds will continue tonight, with forecast low temperatures ranging from the upper 40s to mid 50s. Rather quiet weather will persist statewide Sunday, although a few stray showers or thunderstorms can't be ruled out over western Kansas Sunday afternoon. Below average temperatures will continue, with forecast highs ranging from the mid 70s to low 80s. Southerly winds will be a tad breezier during the afternoon compared to today. $$
