A quiet but relatively chilly day is expected over most of the 
region, though some wildfire smoke will continue to linger. Highs
this afternoon are expected to range from the 50s in southern
Manitoba to near 70 in southeast Montana. Lows tonight are
expected to range from the mid 30s east to upper 40s west.

A strong cold front will bring gusty northwest winds across the 
region on Thursday, and also some rain showers to mainly northern
and eastern portions of the region. Friday will still be breezy, 
but winds will taper off for Friday night which may allow frost to
develop over northern and western parts of the region early 
Saturday morning.
