Early morning temperatures were generally in the mid and upper 50s across the area. An upper level disturbance will track out of the High Plains today and will bring shower and storm chances to most of central and southern Kansas along with the northern half of Oklahoma. Showers and storms will become more numerous tonight as rich low level moisture streams north. The highest chances will be from east- central Kansas into northeast Oklahoma and southwest Missouri. Some flooding could be possible in these locations late tonight into Thursday morning. Highs today are expected to range from the low 70s across central and eastern Kansas with upper 80s likely over southwest Kansas. Look for overnight lows to be in the 50s across Nebraska and northwest Kansas with lows around 70 over southern Oklahoma. $$
