Scattered showers and storms remain possible this afternoon as 
a a cold front approaches the region. The cold front moves east 
of the region tonight. An upper trough will remain over the 
Northeast through much of next week favoring below normal 
temperatures and mostly dry conditions through Thursday. A cold 
front and low pressure then approach late in the week, bringing 
an increase in rain chances Thursday night into Saturday.
