Above normal temperatures were in place across central and eastern
Kansas today. Late afternoon readings were generally in the 95 to
100 degree range with many locations seeing heat indices around
105 degrees. 

Not much is expected to change in the overall weather pattern for
tonight into Saturday, with high pressure situated over the Ozark
region. This will allow mostly dry conditions and warm
temperatures to continue. 

Overnight lows are expected to range from the low 60s over 
western Nebraska to the middle 70s across much of Oklahoma into 
Missouri. Look for highs on Saturday to range from the low 90s 
over western Nebraska to around 100 from central Kansas into 
northern Oklahoma.
