While the front will dissipate slowly, the humidity will remain very high for the southeastern half of the state today and only decrease slightly on Friday. The northwestern half of the state will be less humid. Showers and thunderstorms will be scattered over the SE this afternoon with isolated showers in the central mountains. Most areas, especially north and west of State College, will stay dry due to the sparse coverage of the showers and storms. Friday will hold only slightly less hsowers and thunderstorms as the coverage decreases. The southeast will have the higher chance of getting wet. But, again, most places will be dry as the humidity lowers a little. Highs will be in the 80s today with a couple of towns hitting the 90 degree mark. Overnight lows will range from the mid 50s in the northern mountains to around 70 degrees in Harrisburg. Friday, the temperatures will again max out in the 80s. $$
