...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of north central Texas, including the following 
  county, Lamar.

* WHEN...Until 530 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to slow moving
    thunderstorms near Toco that are slowly moving into Paris.
    Radar estimates up to 2.5 inches of rain has fallen in the
    past hour. Low lying and/or poor drainage areas along with
    some roadways will experience minor flooding in the advisory
    area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Toco, Paris, Lake Gibbons, Sumner, Lake Crook and Brookston.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
